We are a busy medical aesthetic practice in Honolulu focusing on women’s health and rejuvenation. We offer in-office medical treatments as well as cosmetic laser treatments, bringing a full array of services to our practice. Our laser services include non-invasive body contouring, skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, laser hair reduction, and feminine rejuvenation.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit..

Prepares patients for examination by taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.

Helps with office procedures and data entry.

Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, including but not limited to drawing blood; performing basic laboratory tests such as pregnancy and urine tests.

Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician.

Secures patient information by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential.

Updating and filing patient medical records.

Schedules surgeries by making arrangements with the surgical center; verifying times with patients; preparing charts, pre-admission and consent forms.

Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.

Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

Maintains high level of patient care; offers friendly, prompt, and courteous service both in-person and over the phone.

Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Education/Training
Minimum:

Medical assistant certification

Experience
Minimum:

1-5 years experience in medical field, preferable Ob/Gyn.

1-5 years experience in spa or medispa industry, a plus.

Skills/Knowledge
Minimum:

Maintain infection control, creating a safe, effective environment.

Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.

OBGYN Physician

Honu Women’s Health, LLC. - Honolulu, HI

Honu Women’s Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated ObGyn to join a fresh and innovative medical practice specializing in women’s health, from menarche through menopause.

This position will afford a motivated ObGyn the opportunity to come into a thriving practice and grow their patient base rapidly. The clinic contains cutting edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment for complete and comprehensive patient care. Currently, the scope of the practice comprises the entire realm of Obstetrics and Gynecology, from antepartum care through delivery, to routine gynecologic care, office-based procedures, and gynecologic out/inpatient surgeries.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced physician to take their career to the next level or for a new resident looking to work in private practice and flourish. New associates will be joining a caring, collegial team with ample support staff and a beautiful office location, located in downtown Honolulu. Deliveries and surgeries will be done in nearby hospitals. Ideal candidates will wish to have a 50/50 mix of obstetrics and gynecology. A partnership track is also available.

For those interested, the practice also has a separate medical aesthetic division dedicated to women’s wellness and rejuvenation. Required Qualifications:

ABOG Board Certified / Board Eligible

Unrestricted Hawaii MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license

The candidate must be able to provide a broad range of both obstetrical and gynecological services.
